Service Quality Team - Francine D'Souza
I have been a practising audiologist since 1988 with experience in the public sector both national and international. I have been responsible for training clinical staff in all aspects of Audiology since 1992 and as clinical lead and international trainer with the Commonwealth Society for the Deaf (Soundseekers) in 1998 and 2007. I have had clinical and managerial experience within a multi-disciplinary Paediatric Cochlear Implant team and tertiary Paediatric Audiology service.
I am also an HPC partner with current responsibilities for HPC registration, HEI visitor and member of three panels (the investigation committee, conduct and competence committee & health committee).
As a BAA board member on the Service Quality Committee and with joint responsibility for developing the international arm of the BAA with William Brassington I have found the work that the BAA do very rewarding and would encourage more members to be involved.
