Job Title: Technical Support Audiologist – Interacoustics UK
Based in Hamilton, Lanarkshire
Job Summary:
Recent sales success in both the public and private sectors has created the need for a Technical Support Audiologist to join a growing team where your audiological product expertise will be highly valued.
Based from the UK company head office in Hamilton, Scotland, the Technical Support Audiologist’s primary task will be to provide a growing UK customer base with technical and audiological support for Interacoustics products by telephone or remote-access software.
This role is pivotal in proactively liaising with Interacoustics’ research and development team and the global product management teams in Denmark to ensure that the clinical requirements of the NHS are represented as part of product development processes and the Interacoustics product portfolio is aligned with and meets current UK clinical practice needs.

Responsibilities:

Liaison between customers and Interacoustics Denmark on the development of equipment to meet UK clinical and regulatory requirements

Education and training of public and private sector customers on use of Interacoustics equipment

Provision of high quality internal and external training materials
-
Providing internal and external technical and audiological support by telephone
-
Problem solving and resolution handling
-
Internal training for new Interacoustics employees
-
Supporting Sales Managers in the role of audiologist / technical specialist as required

Active participation in new product launches
-
Supporting the development of internal processes and procedures, including verifying specifications on orders received from customers and orders placed on manufacturing
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Audiologist
-
At least 2 years clinical experience in an NHS audiology department

Interest in audiological science and application
-
Excellent interpersonal skills – customer communication / group presentation

Strong technical and IT skills

Excellent telephone manner

Can-do attitude

Job Title:
Interacoustics UK - Regional Sales Manager – South UK
Job Summary:
Recent sales success in both the public and private sectors has created a position for a qualified audiologist looking to move into a commercial role handling the sale of audiological equipment into private and public sector customers.
You will be responsible for identifying and following up sales opportunities and influencing potential customers in their purchasing decisions in favour of Interacoustics products. This is a sales role for a qualified audiologist and requires daily travel throughout the South of the UK. Those applying must have a genuine interest in a career in sales and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the demands of a sales position.

Responsibilities:

Plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospect contacting towards achieving agreed sales targets - especially managing personal time and productivity

Plan and manage territory according to agreed customer development strategy

Maintain and develop existing and new customers through ethical sales methods to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction

Use internal customer and prospect contact tools and systems and update relevant information

Train and educate customers and support staff on the Interacoustics range of products in groups or one-to-one

Full responsibility for managing installation process including pre-installation meetings, technical and product training, installation, follow up and support
-
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide information
-
Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements
-
Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of sustainable relationships

Attend and present at external customer meetings, exhibitions, industry seminars and internal meetings
-
Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills – some training will take place overseas in Denmark
-
Adhere to company health and safety policy and other requirements relating to the care of company equipment
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Audiologist

At least 2 years clinical experience in an NHS audiology department

Experience in both Diagnostic Audiology and Rehabilitation

Keen to learn new aspects of audiology

Excellent interpersonal skills – customer communication / group presentation

Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

Flexibility to travel daily throughout the territory with overnight stays
