The British Academy of Audiology inaugural conference is a real opportunity to celebrate both the unity of UK Audiologists, and the richness of our scope of practice. The Conference, titled "Audiology United!", will honour relationships with international Audiology organisations in Europe and the USA, and with commercial partners. There will be a rich and diverse programme, which will interleave clinical and scientific topics that are topical and exciting. This meeting has been accredited with 12 CPD units from the British Academy of Audiology and 6 CUE points from the BSHAA.

The conference will be held in Manchester in November 2004. This location has been chosen due to its very good communication infrastructure being centrally located with good access for National and International travellers. Manchester University are providing the conference operation team. New Century House is a fabulous venue being recently refurbished and in the middle of Manchester with a vast range of accommodation within walking distance. As this is the first time all the large professions in Audiology will all be assembled at one time, remember to ask your manager to start planning for reduced services on that day so everyone gets the chance to be at the bash.
