Revised Apptitude Test

BAA have been successful in making the argument with the Health Professions Council that it is unfair that our members who are on a register (and in being so have been assessed as being equivalent to at least degree level audiologists) have to be reassessed for HPC/HAC registration in aspects that they are known to be competent in.
For more information on how to apply for the Apptitude test please see below:

We have worked with Aston University and have developed a new version of the Aptitude test which awaits HPC approval– this is an on-line module with a final assessment at Aston and content covers the aspects not guaranteed in our training – namely Business Skills. The cost will be £200.

James Lind Alliance Tinnitus Priority Setting Partnership Survey

What are the most important unanswered questions about tinnitus treatment?
We need your help to gather as many questions as possible. So far we’ve had a great response from the general public, but need clinicians to get involved and tell us what your biggest unanswered questions are too.

The Tinnitus Priority Setting Partnership survey is available online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/JLAtinnitus until 28 February 2012 and we are hoping as many Audiologists and Clinicians will complete it as possible.

Please press read more for further information on the project.
