BAA represent Audiology in many different forums. Currently we are registered as stakeholders on 7 different NICE documents and work packages which are in different stages of development. As a stakeholder we receive draft documents and are able to make comments to the committees. We have some representation on some of the Committees too where they are directly relevant, for example Michelle Foster is on the Tinnitus Committee.

  • Adults with a lifelong or very severe hearing or visual impairment: health and social care support
  • Children and young people with disabilities & severe complex needs: integrated health & social care support guidance
  • Children and young people with severe complex needs: social care support. Infant, children and young people's experience of healthcare (April 2021)
  • Neonatal infection (early onset): antibiotics for prevention and treatment (Jan 2020)
  • Rehabilitation in people with severe and enduring mental illness (June 2020)
  • Tinnitus (2020)
  • Workplace health: long-term sickness absence and capability to work (update) (Nov 2019)
