Victoria Adshead has been appointed as our new Communications Executive, effective April 1st. As Communications Executive, Victoria will work with the Pubs and Comms team and the wider BAA Board, on our multimedia communications strategy, looking at engagement with members, other stakeholders, key messaging, web presence and social media.

“I am delighted to take on this new role with the British Academy of Audiology. I have spent many years working in the Audiology profession and have watched the BAA grow from an idea, to the largest professional body for UK audiologists. I look forward to working with the Board to take the organisation to the next level of engagement with members and the audiology community.”

Welcoming her to the BAA Team, President Sue Falkingham said, “Victoria is a marketing and communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the audiology arena and I very much would look forward to working with her as we seek to improve our digital marketing presence and increase our communications across different channels.”

Victoria joins the BAA team following 11 years as Chief Editor of Audio Infos magazine, responsible for editorial content of the UK audiology publication, online news content for Audiology Worldnews and management of the twitter account. Prior to that she spent 8 years with Phonak UK as Marketing Manager and 2 years with A&M Hearing/Siemens.
