The webinar ‘Dementia and considerations for the clinical environment’ featured Dr Jenna Littlejohn from ManCAD and Deafness Support Network and Jack Bennett from Interacoustics. The session started with an update, from Sue Falkingham, on recent BAA Board and committee work to support members during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Monthly Online Journal Club

ManCAD journal clubs are an informal forum for discussing a recent pertinent publication. They consist of a short presentation followed by an interactive discussion of thoughts and ideas arising from the paper.

Journal clubs take place on the 3rd Friday of each month from 1-2pm

If you plan to join the online journal club, email here and you will receive a link for the meeting and a copy of the paper that will be discussed. You can read it in advance if you like, but this is certainly not a requirement.

Don’t be intimidated if you have never attended a journal club. The topics clinically applicable, no preparation is required and while we encourage interaction, that is optional too.

The next Journal Club will be on 21st August, 1-2pm and will  cover: “Data logging: A measure of use, or a useless measure?”
