Alice Davies is a Senior Lecturer and qualified Audiologist with dual RCCP and HCPC registration as an NHS clinical Audiologist and a Hearing Aid Dispenser. She graduated from Swansea University with a first-class honours degree in Audiology and has since gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education and HEA teaching fellowship.  Alice is the Programme Director for the Certificate in Basic Audiological Practice which is a FHEQ level 4 undergraduate qualification aimed at developing the clinical skills of Assistant and Associate Audiologists working within NHS Wales.  She has developed further undergraduate modules to support Associate Audiologists in their development and to support their applications for PTP equivalence to register and work as qualified Audiologists.  Alice also teaches across a variety of modules on the BSc (hons) Healthcare Science (Audiology) (PTP) programme.

Alice has a keen interest in the education of audiological staff and enjoys seeing students develop their knowledge and clinical skills to improve the care they provide to patients.  Alice is also a STEM ambassador and a keen advocate for employability within Healthcare Science.  She regularly hosts and attends events to promote the profession to children and adults of all ages within Wales.
