Joanne graduated from the BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology at the University of Ulster in 2007, with a diploma in Industrial studies.  She completed her BAAT I and II in 2007 and continued her studies in Rehabilitative Audiology with a PgDip from the University of Bristol, 2012.

Currently working as the Adult Lead Audiologist for South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, N.I.  She specialises in complex caseloads and dual sensory impairments for adults with learning difficulties.  She is enthusiastic in her role as Clinical Educator for FdSc Hearing Aid Audiology students, enjoying the challenges of supported learning and helping to grow the profession.
