Ryan spent 19 years within audiology, training via the BAAT route into the profession, and completing an MSc in Clinical Health Management in 2017. He has worked in Essex and London, specialising in complex adult rehabilitation, but has now left the profession to become a Senior Development Manager for Primary Care at Southend CCG.

There are many aspects relevant to both his new and old roles that he enjoys; patient care, service development and the training and development of the workforce. However, he has a real passion for high quality outcome measures in healthcare, and the role these play in ensuring our interventions are beneficial and appropriate.

He has enjoyed the challenges presented since joining the accreditation committee, as well as the contribution it makes to the profession as a whole.
