We are looking for an Audiologist to join our small yet growing private audiology practice: Cardiff Hearing.

We are quite different from the average independent practice where you will have the opportunity to get involved in all manner of fun and exciting antics; there is no room for sales targets or having to wear a suit with us. We pride ourselves in the highest levels of clinical care and are looking for people who would like to be part of our business who will take care of and develop the clinic as if it were their own.

Feeling inspired at work is important to us and so we ensure that all of our team have access to further educational opportunities.

We don’t believe in rushed appointments which is why on average we allow 2-2.5 hours for hearing consultations, so we can be sure we do the very best for our patients. We never want anyone, be that clinicians or patients, to get in a flap, and hey, if we can do a job with a cup of tea and a biscuit with our patients, then everyone feels more chEARful.

We’re not about simply testing hearing and fitting hearing aids. You will have the chance to work with the music industry, get involved in marketing, paediatric consultations, and of course, we work with the very latest in hearing technologies.

If it tickles your wicket, you may also be able to get involved in auditory processing disorder work, tinnitus assessment and therapeutic interventions, as well as working alongside an ENT consultant on some exciting surgical work.

We are looking for bright, EARsome, and innovative practitioners who are keen to work in our multidisciplinary practice. We consider ourselves a holistic service where we have counsellors, doctors, SALTs, physiotherapists and more besides to turn to if something is beyond our scope of practice.

It doesn’t matter if you are a new graduate or have been working in Audiology for many years – we want to hear from you. What is important to us is the right attitude and people skills, and so please don’t worry if you’re not hugely experienced or tech savvy – we can teach any knowledge gaps.

Applicants must be HCPC registered as a hearing aid dispenser and must be eligible to work in the U.K
