Clinical Specialist (Hearing Implants) at MED-EL UK Ltd
Permanent, Full Time
South of England (with travel across the UK)
Do you want to work for a world leading hearing implant company, which puts technical and clinical excellence at the heart of its ethos?
MED−EL change the lives of people with hearing loss. As the global innovation leader in hearing loss solutions, our systems have restored hearing to more than 200,000 individuals through hearing implants and solutions for children and adults in over 130 countries worldwide. Our global headquarters are in Innsbruck, Austria and our UK head office is in Sheffield. Our mission is to eliminate hearing loss as a barrier to communication, and this role allows you to directly improve the lives of patients for whom our devices are suitable.
You will hold a graduate level qualification, and UK Registration (or eligibility for immediate registration) via RCCP, HCPC (Clinical Scientist), or a similar professional body. You will be able to demonstrate a range of current clinical skills and experience in a NHS (or comparable) clinical setting, including an advanced knowledge of hearing aid and/or implantable hearing devices. A post-graduate level qualification, and experience with both adult and paediatric work would be advantageous.
We seek an effective communicator, who can self-manage but also work in a team environment. The ability to rapidly grasp technical concepts and explain them to persons with a variety of knowledge levels is essential. The role will be field based, requiring extensive travel across the UK, including some overnight stays.
In return we’ll offer you an attractive benefits package, including a generous contributory workplace pension scheme, life assurance, health scheme cash plan, full training on MED-EL hearing implants, and remuneration commensurate with experience and qualifications.
If you are interested in joining our dynamic UK team please email your CV and a covering letter to Lynne Bell, MED-EL UK Ltd, Lynne.Bell@medel.com.
