We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual required to join our expanding Audiology team. This is an ideal opportunity to join one of the largest undergraduate audiology programmes in the country. The post is equally aimed at a newly qualified academic seeking a lecturer post, or an experienced academic seeking progression, or a clinician with training experience seeking a new challenge and a post at Senior Lecturer level.

You will be engaged primarily in teaching on all programmes related to Audiology, including the BSc Healthcare Science (Audiology) and the Foundation degree in Hearing Aid Audiology, with an emphasis on Specialist Adult Rehabilitation. You will have knowledge and skills in advanced therapeutics, management planning, hearing aids and assistive listening devices, as well as experience in working with one or more specialist populations, such as tinnitus, learning disabilities, cognition, paediatrics, balance.

In addition, the successful applicant will be the Deputy placement lead, providing support for placement providers and students on placement, sourcing new placements and training clinical educators. Over time, the successful candidate will become the Placement Lead.

You will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of our courses through teaching, research and related professional academic activity. You will be involved in work-based activities and foster and develop relationships with our partners. If applying for the Senior Lecturer post, we would expect the candidate to develop and lead on projects, as well as have experience in programme management.
