Are you an accomplished communicator and networker, with a medical devices, pharmaceuticals or clinical background, able to share and build on a great idea and looking for a new challenge in an exciting medical field? Cochlear is the global leader in implantable hearing solutions and is now looking for a Referring Professionals Marketing Manager to join the marketing team and help to develop its pre-sales programme with referring professionals in order to build future demand for its Cochlear Implant and Acoustic Implant businesses.
To be successful in this newly-created role, you’ll need to be able to develop a deep insight into the needs of Cochlear’s customers and partners, as well as the commercial and strategic requirements of the organisation to drive referral and ultimately market growth.
With referring audiologists and implanting professionals in mind, you’ll help to build awareness of patient needs and shift perceptions of the technology in order to evolve referring capability, practices and wider approaches across the audiological community. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Marketing, the Engagement team and wider professional networks to develop and implement strategy. You’ll then adopt, adapt and create development and communication programmes to meet the needs of the UK, Ireland and South Africa markets.
Most probably with a marketing or clinical background, you’ll be an engaging copywriter with experience in developing marketing and training collateral, professional development programmes and building stakeholder networks through automated digital and traditional channels and face to face approaches. The role is based at Cochlear’s office in Weybridge, with some flexibility around working from home.

You’ll demonstrate the ability to understand complex products and services and develop strategies and creative solutions to achieving communication goals. You’ll have a strong track record of teamwork and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across a matrix organisation.
