TympaHealth is currently is already in use with a number of leading UK hearing care providers, NHS providers and pharmacy groups.
Accessing ear and hearing health services can often be challenging and time consuming for patients. At TympaHealth we are building a network of clinicians from all backgrounds to better facilitate faster and easier access to ear and hearing healthcare for everyone. Tympa are also working hard to normalise attending regular ear and hearing health check-ups, and normalising the topic of ear wax.
Role and Responsibilities:
There are two roles available, one based in the South West and one in the Midlands. The role involves the delivery of training and support to a wide range of allied healthcare professionals who are extending their scope of practice to carry out wax removal using microsuction using the Tympa system.
Working within a closely knit team each Regional Trainer will be responsible for their own geographical area as well as supporting the National events as required. Specifically this will include:
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
An Audiologist qualification is essential (RCCP/HCPC) with experience of wax removal preferred.
Personal Profile and Skills:
The successful candidate will be outgoing, dynamic, self-motivated and possess a natural ability to engage, guide and motivate. Excellent time management skills are essential, and you must be confident in your ability to deliver a training programme according to a designated schedule.
Strong inter-personal skills are a pre-requisite for this role. The successful applicant must also be able to demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development in their own career to date.
