Hours: 4 days full time or part time would be considered.

Salary: £35,000 plus bonus

Interhearing are looking to recruit a talented and creative Audiologist in the Shropshire/ West Midlands area who shares our passion to provide excellence in patient centred care.

In the last 2 years, we have grown our business from 2 clinics to 10 clinics due to our uncompromising focus on exceeding the expectations of our customers. Each Interhearing patient has unique requirements, and as such, we pride ourselves on providing the expertise, solutions and support to meet each individual’s needs and empower patients for the future.

Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Audiologist with an interest in assisting us to develop our services further through innovation and resourcefulness.

Applicants must share our passion for exceeding customer expectations; have relevant experience working as an NHS Audiologist and an enthusiasm for developing and improving quality and service. Successful applicants will be able to show a genuine interest in and an up to date knowledge of the latest developments and technologies in our field and how these developments can assist our customers and benefit our service. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Our clinics currently cover the following specialities: ENT support, private hearing aid trials and fittings, microsuction ear wax removal and Tinnitus Support Therapy sessions, with plans to expand into wider areas of speciality.

This post will involve a mixture of home-based working and working at our clinic locations.


  • Work together with the rest of the team to develop, improve and grow our Audiology clinics.
  • Supporting ENT clinics by performing tests such as: PTA AC/BC with masking, ULL, Tympanometry ips+contra and speech testing.
  • Lead and run hearing aid clinics, with the flexibility and freedom to fit hearing aids from all the manufacturers and to develop these clinics to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide tinnitus assessments and support
  • Support the growth of our audiology supplies arm of the business
  • Learn how to calibrate equipment as part of our growth and diversification
  • Run and support our private, community-based wax removal clinics

Qualifications & Experience

  • Audiology BSc, MSc or Equivalent
  • Registered with the HCPC or eligible to register as required
  • Full driving licence
  • NHS experience as an Audiologist (preferred)
  • Qualified to perform ear wax removal desirable but not essential (training  available)
  • Experienced in Audiological assessment and hearing aid fitting including: PTA full assessment, tympanometry, REMS
