AIHHP Autumn 2013 Conference
AIHHP Autumn 2013 Conference, Exhibition
& 7th Annual Golden Lobe Awards!
In our louder and louder world, says sound expert Julian Treasure, "We are losing our listening." One of the keynote speakers at this Autumn’s AIHHP conference, Julian Treasure will share five ways to re-tune your ears for conscious listening -- to other people and the world around you. Using powerful sonic examples, he’ll also explain the four ways sound affects us all – and why most people are unconscious about them.
Fred Sirieux, General Manager at Galvin at Windows, the Michelin-starred restaurant on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane is passionate about training and staff development. He’ll essentially talk about the people in your business - how they perform and how they represent you and what your business stands for. All staff need to understand their own role (where it starts and ends) and the role of every other person in the organisation.
Fred will also facilitate a workshop in the afternoon, where his board-based interactive training activity ‘The Art of Service’ will demonstrate how to achieve great customer service.
Rob Rendell, hearing aid dispenser and lecturer in audiology will provide the ‘audiological’ element of this Autumn’s programme and Gary Holland will provide you with a few Hints and Tips to make choosing a practice management system for your practice (a little) less painful!
The Conference is back at the lovely Hilton Cobham Hotel down in Surrey.
The hotel’s full address is: Seven Hills Road South, Cobham, Surrey KT11 1EW (it is located just off the M25 at Junction 10, 25 miles South of Central London and just 30mins from Heathrow Airport)
As always delegates from all sectors of the audiological community are invited to attend the main conference day on Friday 29th November.
Presentations on the Friday will run concurrently with an exhibition, where the manufacturers will present the latest products and services and for which delegates are also awarded BSHAA CPD points.
