You are invited to join the BAA on the 2nd & 3rd November at the Coventry Building Society Arena for our 19th annual conference and exhibition.
Speaker Highlights:
We are delighted to have clinical leaders and expert research professionals provide clinic-changing presentations across a wide range of audiology topics. Keynote speakers include Dr Barbra Timmer, who will present the Adrian Davis Lecture – ‘Hearing rehabilitation outcomes: Our role in addressing well-being, stigma, and adapting audiology services’. Claire Benton will present the Bamford Lecture, “UK Paediatric Audiology: Climbing a mountain or climbing out of a hole?
Other invited keynote speakers include Nathan Proudlove on Improving Service Quality, Dr Angela Alexander on Auditory Processing Disorder, and Ian Baines, Associate Director, NHS England and NHS Improvement Horizons Team, who will speak about supporting change and engaging teams.
Key sessions across the two days include: adult hearing aid fitting practices and care homes provision; vestibular sessions; paediatrics including outcome measures; a cochlear implant workshop followed by a bone conduction and middle ear implant workshop; genomics; hearing care professionals with deafness or hearing loss; a quality assurance session parallel to a tinnitus session.
We have allocated ten free paper presentations in the programme. These presentations will be chosen from your abstracts.
