On Tuesday 26th Jan from 13:30 – 16:30 there will be an online Clinical Development Workshop for the COACH Trial: a multicentre, randomised controlled trial comparing cochlear implantation to hearing aids in adults with severe hearing loss that may redefine candidacy for cochlear implantation in the future.

The event is open to all CI surgeons and UK audiologists from all clinical specialties. It will offer the opportunity to help shape the surgical and device fitting protocols included in the trial. The workshop groups will be:

·         Surgical Protocol Development

·         Hearing Aid Fitting and Optimisation Protocol Development

·         Unilateral and Bimodal CI fitting Protocol Development
