You are invited to two Paediatric Audiology training days at the

Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

 

17th March – Day 1: Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Testing of Babies and Older Children

Led by Jason Smalley and Dr Siobhan Brennan, this day will include the principles of screening, the use of ABR as a diagnostic test for hearing and building a clinical picture of a babies hearing. We will also go through the latest ABR and other BSA guidance for the testing of Newborns including complex cases

18th March – Day 2: Behavioural Assessment and Management of Children

Led by Georgie Hill, Sam Lear and Keiran Joseph, this day will include the theory and practical basis behind the behavioural assessment of children, putting support around the child / family and effective management of children with hearing loss Wherever possible, both days will feature practical demonstrations with a strong emphasis on driving change in the clinic

This event is free for all professionals currently working within Paediatric Audiology in Scotland – regardless of membership of the BAA – thank you to Interacoustics for supporting the training days.
