The document ‘Infection Prevention and Control Practices and Processes in Audiology‘ has been produced by the BAA Service Quality Committee.

The purpose of this document is to facilitate the writing and understanding of local infection prevention and control procedures within Audiology services.

The document is intended for all Audiology staff, but particularly those who have responsibility for health and safety or infection prevention and control within a service.  It is also relevant to newborn hearing screeners, school hearing screeners, volunteers and other professionals who carry out work in an Audiology clinic or multi-professional setting.
