This September Sense launched a petition calling for disabled people to be heard at next year’s inquiry into the UK’s handling of Covid-19

Disabled people are one of the hardest hit groups of the pandemic. Steven Morris, Campaigns Officer for Sense is deafblind, and has first-hand experience of the inequalities that disabled people face – and how they got worse during the pandemic. Steven has asked for BAA members’ support. Next year there will be a public inquiry into Covid-19 and Steven and the Sense team believe that the experience of disabled people must be investigated.

Over 26,000 people have already signed their petition. They would love your support to make sure this is an issue that can’t be ignored.
