Full Time
De Montfort University (DMU) is a vibrant, ambitious and inclusive learning institution. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Audiology team. We are growing and developing several initiatives that will drive scholarly activities, advanced training and research.
You would work as part of a team, primarily delivering high quality teaching and training across a range of programmes. As well as adult aural rehabilitation, we are keen to hear from you, if you have expertise in paediatric audiology and/or diagnostic audiology (evoked response audiometry). You would contribute to teaching and training across our programmes, including developing and creating new programmes and short courses. The role will involve being a key member of the academic placement team, so experience and interest/expertise in professional practice would be great.
You would be engaged in collaboration, enterprise and research development. The Audiology section of the school is one of the largest in the country and boosts excellent facilities and the latest teaching and clinical equipment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be experienced in one of the areas of specialism and be enthusiastic about the subject. They should have an all-round grounding in Audiology. Although a postgraduate qualification in Audiology would be beneficial, we are interested to hear from candidates with significant clinical experience as well. The candidate must be passionate about teaching and training and are creative and willing to develop, they should have the ability to develop and increase their networks.
